The Idea
When Ecoara began, we wanted a name that expressed the balance we strive for in design. The connection between ecological awareness and architectural creativity. That simple concept became ECO and ARA.
The Connection
While exploring the word further, we discovered that ecoar means “to echo” in Portuguese, and it instantly felt right. Our work aims to echo the lives, values, and environments of the people we design for. It’s about resonance, not repetition, creating spaces that feel true to their surroundings.
A Personal Touch
Ecoara was named shortly after returning home from the US. We wanted something simple, grounded, and memorable – a name we could believe in and grow with.
